With ShelterCare, you and your four-legged family member can rest easy because unexpected accidents and illnesses common to shelter pets are covered. There's only a $50 deductible and the policy covers up to $500 per incident. The following incidents are covered:

ShelterCare Pet Insurance
Don't wait to activate your pet's insurance. ShelterCare requires that you activate your gift policy within 10 days from the adoption date. Your pet's coverage begins one minute past the second midnight (EST) following activation. Conditions noted prior to the effective date will not be covered. Unless ShelterCare receives your payment information for extended or upgraded coverage within 2 months, your coverage will stop after 60 days.
