Operation K9 Rescue Memorials Duke From Bakersfield to San Diego, Duke had many loving foster homes until the perfect family was found for such a wonderful boy. Those who took him in for days, or weeks, absolutely fell in love with him. We all feel so fortunate to have been touched by this sweet little old man who wanted nothing more in his last days than love, affection and a comfy place to sleep. Duke was very fortunate to find the perfect forever home with the Deppen family who treated him with no less love and compassion than they would their own children. Duke spent his last night in their son Cammron's bed...his favorite spot. Those of us who knew Duke know that the chance to sleep in a warm bed with someone who loved him will give him enough happiness to last him through eternity.
