Operation K9 Rescue Happy Tails - Success Stories

Gunther
Gunther is a very loving 3 year old red male Tosa. His first owners could not keep him because they had white carpet and their backyard, in Las Vegas, was mostly red clay. Gunther's second owners could not keep him due to his human Mom was about to have the family's second child. She was afraid that Gunther would knock her down the stairs of the family's home. That's where Operation K9 Rescue stepped in. One of our volunteers met Gunther's family in Barstow, CA, and it was love at first sight. Gunther is a very calm and good-natured male Tosa (he used to play with other dogs at dog parks - we do not advise this activity with Tosas). Gunther was being boarded at our kenneling facility until we found him a forever home. To everyone's surprise, his forever home was just under his nose. His soon-to-be daddy had already been taking care of him and was well beyond falling in love iwth him. He adopted Gunther and they are now inseparable.
