Desperate Plea to Help Bulldog Victims of Horrific Abuse On August 30th 2007, the Houston SPCA raided a so called breeder of American Bulldogs, Pickets Pride an American Bulldog puppy-mill. Humane officers found horrific conditions and extreme neglect like few have ever seen. They seized over 70 dogs, pulling them out of deplorable and inhumane conditions. Dogs that should weigh 80-100 pounds were carried off the premises at barely half their body weight and near death. Out of the 70 dogs, only 20-30 can be saved and those lucky few will need extensive rehabilitation and veterinary care. Visit our website at www.lvwrinklerescue.com to see the videos of this seize. Las Vegas Wrinkle Rescue and Operation K9 Rescue, both rescues specializing in American Bulldogs, have joined forces to aid these survivors. There is a lot you can do to help. Transport is set, but we need food, dog houses, kennels, chain link runs, and donations to help us buy the materials to set up the kennels and pay for their on-going vet care.
